What is more fun than 21st century learning in school than completing it with robots? Our school just started incorporating STEM as a related art for all students. The problem is funding all of the expensive materials to allow for the students to have hands-on experiences. Building these robots and using the robots in the classroom will allow the students to experience what it is like to be an engineer. The goal with this project is to bring all of the grade levels together to build the robots and use them. They will be able to use collaboration with older/younger students to create a machine that will be able to move around and complete different tasks. I'm very excited to see the students work together to complete a task and think like an engineer in our STEM lab.
