99% of my students are African Americans and 85% come from a economically disadvantaged household. About 5% of the students are students with disabilities. The school building is defined as high poverty status by federal standards. The school is a charter school in a large city in Ohio. Most of the students attending this school come from various parts of the intercity. Many students do not have basic school supplies like pencils and paper. The school and the teachers provide the students with supplies to use in class. Few students have scientific calculators to use.
