Stem lessons and materials have had a major impact in my classroom. I teach a very diverse population who are economically challenged. When I bring my students together for Stem lessons, I see their imaginations unite and they begin to collaborate together in a very positive way! My students' individuality and creativity shine with Stem challenges. The wonderful thing about STEM is the possibilities and real world problems children attempt to solve when given creative materials. With the right tools, children are free to be themselves, use their imaginations, and create! Unfortunately, the pandemic has caused my school to lose lots of funding so our budget is just too tight for each teacher to have their own individual STEM Kits. These materials will not only benefit my students in mathematics and science, they will help foster 21st Century Skills necessary for a lifetime of success!
