My students will be given a piece of cardboard and a bottle of glue to create an artwork of their choice. Once the glue dries with the design, they will place the aluminum foil over the top of the work. They will then press firming to allow the glue design to show through; giving it a relief type look. With the use of colored sharpies, they will make their artwork come to life with vibrancy. This colorful piece will serve as a self-expression and allow them to create an individualized artwork to keep through time. Students within my social communications class will be able to use the liquid tiles to push colors to create an embossed look. These tiles are reusable, so students can use these through the year. This is a sensory type item to help them create works of art.
