Through renovating the resource and shower room, we are creating a necessary and important space for the students of our school. We understand that surrounding environments play a critical role in academic and social success, and find it imperative to provide assistance where it is possible. While these resources will be open to all students, those with pressing needs will be prioritized. Some of our students are currently unhoused and need a safe, trauma-informed space for a daily shower; the school shower room, with a little TLC, can be a transformed into that space. By providing access to a basic need, this allows for our students to expend more energy and focus on building social relationships and their academic success.
