As students begin 3rd grade, academics become more rigorous and there are much higher content expectations than they have had before. In our school, this is the first time students move classrooms through the day for different content classes. For students whose minds are still developing and are focused on learning new skills, simply staying organized can be a real challenge. To address this need, I would like to provide planners to the individuals who are profoundly struggling with keeping their work organized. Students will use these planners to help them stay on track, regardless of whether they are learning in-person or through cyber instruction. These will especially help students with difficulties in executive functioning, allowing them an external tool to help them succeed.
