"All I really need to know... I learned in kindergarten," said by Robert Fulghum, sums up my Kindergarten classroom. Kindergarten is the foundation for learning key reading strategies that will help them foster a life time of reading. The students are full of curiosity and life, love learning, and continuously show growth with reading skills. Our school is considered low-income, but despite that label, we are rich in positivity. We consider ourselves, "the little school that could." I feel that kind of positivity promotes and allows the students to feel more at confident in their own abilities to learn.
