Students spend majority of their time on the rug for Morning Meetings, Large Group Literacy, Math, Story time, etc., by donating to our project, you will help to improve student’s comfort level during engagement. Students will be able to focus their attention more on the location of where I need them to sit during our time on the carpet which will increase their knowledge of colors, shapes, and color sight words around them. The rug donated will help to excel each child in some form of capacity whether learning by shapes, colors, numbers, letters, and/or sounds. Everything will be utilized by the students while in the classroom.
