I have a diverse group of learners whose needs for visuals and tactile objects within there learning environment is extremely important. Being able to use manipulatives in small groups themselves is extremely beneficial to there success. The use of place value charts, base ten blocks, dice and geometry manipulatives are especially needed in my class daily. It will give my students the hands on experience and Visuals needed to have a better learning experience. The 3rd grade manipulative kit will be used as a work station for small group instruction, for lessons to be used by students who need limited distractions from the whole group teaching. It will allow them see and touch in a small setting to give them a clearer understanding of the lesson taught.
