Libraries provide pleasure reading, which studies have shown to be key in helping grow learning minds in academic skills in all subject areas, as well as social skills. When students have the freedom to browse, evaluate, and choose their own reading, they are more likely to read for pleasure. Pre-sanitizing small hands will keep Covid-19 from spreading on the thousands of touched surfaces of those books. By donating to this project, you will help over 600 students who come to SLES library weekly to build their minds safely.
