My students fall under the severe-profound level of their disabilities which makes their ability levels all across the board between several grade levels. Their fine motor skills are also severely behind due to their disabilities. Our high school does issue a Chromebook to each student but due to some of my students’ low fine motor skills, a Chromebook is not a realistic tool for all of my students to use in the classroom. With these tablets I plan to use them in our core classes (Math and English) and allow students to work on items (items specifically catered to their IEP goals) at an independent and/or minimal support level.
