I am requesting a classroom set of 20 headphones that my students will use during literacy centers to complete their district-mandated time on Imagine Learning, an online application designed to help language learners increase their decoding skills and comprehension. The students must complete 90 minutes of Imagine Learning every week, meaning they spend an average of 20 minutes per day using the app. However, because the application is used as a center activity, my students often complain that they cannot hear the application reading to them or prompting them to answer questions. As a result, my students are not gaining the most they can from Imagine Learning. For these reasons, my students would greatly appreciate a set of sturdy classroom headphones to utilize daily during centers.
