These items will give my students the hands-on learning materials they need to overcome their reading struggles. These are a must for small group instruction in helping students learn phonics, and reading strategies which are both essential in the reading process. It's been proven that students with reading issues require hands-on learning opportunities, as one component of teaching in several "modes". It allows them to learn through activity and is more engaging for them. If they aren't engaged, then they won't learn. I can't wait to see how much they improve with using these great tools!
