Every year my students love this novel, but can only hear me read it aloud to them from just my copy. A class set of these books will help students have a better understanding of the novel and complete activities using their own copy of the novel to help them. This will give students an opportunity to enhance their reading, writing, and vocabulary skills. Many of my students read below grade level, so having their own copy to follow along with will definitely enhance their reading, listening, and vocabulary skills.
