The crayons, puppet theater, and bean bag chairs will be used for programs in the library to teach children about literacy and having fun while doing it! My plan for programs this year is to get the community around us involved with the students. For example, I've contacted a firefighter willing to come in and talk with the kids. The fireman puppet would be perfect for this program. Several students here speak Spanish, and the library is in desperate need of books that have to speak in the Spanish language. I started with Harry Potter because it is the most requested series. Thanks for taking the time to read!
