My students are most engaged by curriculums that emphasize continuous immersion in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Specifically, hands-on learning opportunities where they can develop the critical skills necessary to design and build things. Our GO KART Challenge will act as an opportunity for the students to have real-world experience applying their engineering abilities by using the materials from the Go Kart kit to follow directions in order to assemble a mechanical product. Our goal is to bring back the real-world skills that students once learned in vocational classes.
