Keeping photos of your family and friends is something a lot of us take for granted. They can bring joy and comfort in times of need, and be our only way to keep memories form our childhoods. For my students, many of them struggle with homelessness and housing instability, so keeping photos of their friends and family is not something they are accustomed to having. This year, we intend to change that, by providing yearbooks for students, with photos of their friends and classmates so that they too can be reminded of the hopes and dreams their friends and teachers have for their future. These cameras will be used primarily for the students to create a yearbook this year. But they will also make it possible for students to take photos for all clubs on campus, including ASB, sports teams, and student life.
