Studying the Holocaust is important to learning about our world's past. The impact it had on the Jewish population around the world is vast. The students that I teach are able to join an elective about this topic for a year long course. The books that I am asking for would be beneficial to our class since this is the first year this class has been offered at our school and we do not have access to more than one copy of them. If I had a class set of these books then my students could read along and focus on the sections of the book without me having to make copies. This would allow me to have a class set for not just this year but also next year and so on. Students would be able to read first hand accounts of what life was like during the Holocaust from the perspective of people closer to their age.
