Teaching at a STEM School is one thing. Teaching at a STEM school that promotes being active and outdoors is another; and it is amazing. Trying to force a 7th grader to sit in a plastic chair for any length of time is like bathing a cat. I am requesting these wobble stools and the bouncy seats to help my middle schoolers get out that busy energy, while being able to focus at the same time. Being able to mindlessly fidget as they learn has been proven to increase focus and retention.
