My students are filled with questions about the universe and they refuse to take what is printed in the book for fact. They want proof. With the right tools they will be able to formulate questions, make a hypothesis and then create an experiment to answer these burning questions. Our students have already proved that education is important to them. They have sought out a charter school with high expectations that requires tons of work. But, our school is just starting out and we need a few basic materials to begin experimenting. We are focusing our efforts on encouraging students to think critically about their world and be engaged in learning.
