Soccer is an significant part of the Hispanic culture. The purpose of this project is to continue to foster this sport at our school and help students preserve a part of their culture. Soccer at our school is open to all students regardless of their ethnicity. Students from other ethnic groups are presented with the opportunity to learn about this aspect of Hispanic culture as well as interact with their fellow classmates. Sports in general present many opportunities for learning. Being part of a team contributes in a positive way to students' social and emotional learning.

About my class
