I work on a Title I school and most of my student's families don't have enough money to buy their children supplies that is the main reason for this project. Also, most students are immigrants or first born generation from immigrant parents. Even though I am a Science teacher, I bring literacy and reading skills to my class as most of my students are level 1 or 2 in reading. The majority of my students also have intensive reading class, but we read books in my class for fun and pure enjoyment!
