The students in my classroom have one to one access to Chromebooks. This is amazing! What isn't amazing is the volume level in the classroom, however. With up to 25 students doing research, playing educational games, working on reading or math assignments, or listening to audiobooks, the noise gets out of hand and becomes a distraction to many. If each child had their own set of headphones, they would be able to listen to their own stories, focus on their own assignments and information that is read to them online without having the distraction of all the other computers and their noise. Currently, it is just too loud without headphones. These headphones would bring more focus and peace into our classroom and help us use our technology to its fullest capacities.
