All of my students are currently falling in love with Gordan Korman's Novel "Restart." Unfortunately, due to time restraints we will not be able to continue to read the novel together as our class read aloud. Students have become enticed with Korman's characters and need to know what happens next; at the end of each session of reading I hear a chorus of "You can't stop now!" and "Ugh, Ms. Brown!". With the purchase of these books, students will be given their own copy of the book to continue to read at their own pace. This will not only allow students to finish reading the book, but will also show them not to abandon books, but to become flexible in how we enjoy them. Lastly, students who enjoyed "Restart" will want to dig into other novels by Gordan Korman which will help continue to grow their love of literacy.
