Our school is located in a mixed deciduous and conifer forest habitat, with several sources of water, making it a rich environment for a wide range of bird species. In response to this unique setting, some unique learning supplies are needed to fully access our potential as budding natural scientists. A spotting scope, utilizing an iPhone screen, is a wonderful tool to get up close and personal with the subject being studied. Combined with age appropriate field guides students will be given the opportunity to successfully identify the bird populations found at our school. Inspiring our future naturalists!

About my class
