The STEM/ Lego set will provide amazing opportunities to intertwine math and science together and provide ways to build problem-solving and teamwork skills with their peers. The flexible seating will allow for students to have the ability to move while learning and to find a way to be most comfortable and safe in our environment. Research has proven that not all students are comfortable most successful in a standard classroom setting. The students I serve are also returning to in-person instruction for the first time since before the COVID pandemic, and I am striving to provide an environment that is safe and welcoming by providing different opportunities for students' seating. The books will add to our collection by providing ways to empower the many cultures are students and their peer's identities.
