In the never-ending quest to make Chemistry interesting, I would like to do more labs that tie into everyday knowledge and experiences. By using some innovative kits, I have the ability to break out from the traditional chemistry labs and into everyday topics with which students are already familiar. This is also a small step towards an everyday Chem course that I would like to create for non-college-bound students. The best part is that these kits lay the foundation, and then I can buy my own chemicals to refill from year to year!

About my class
