Our class will observe the life cycle of butterflies. Through doing this they will gain knowledge and insight of how a caterpillar changes into a butterfly. Our students are very young and everything is magical. These hands on activities will give them the foundation they will need for life science. They will gain an appreciation of life and how to care for a living thing. The students will observe and record the various stages. We will have several projects involving photography and journalism. They will also work on oral skills while working in groups with their friends.
