We work with fine and gross motor skills in order to gain cognitive abilities in the areas of reading, math, and community understanding. The students I work with are on the severe and profound end of Special Education. Most of classroom was destroyed in Hurricane Ida. We have not been able to get into the schools, let alone out classrooms. I do not know what to expect. We were setting up kitchen area, vocational area, sensory room, and 2 classrooms. Every little bit will help these students to succeed in every way. We had seen so much growth in the first month, and now will have to deal with regression whenever we can get back. Thank you so very much.
