Scholastic magazines have relatable content for students that do not learn with traditional literature. They meet and exceed the required standards and include vocabulary, reading, writing, and higher level thinking skills. The digital component allows me to differentiate my instruction to meet all students' reading abilities. Given our current status, if a student must learn at home, he/she has the same access to the magazine their classmates would in person. I can utilize the magazine during whole class, small group, and independent learning situations. The possibilities are endless when using this resource!
