These items will help my students to feel safe and relaxed. By making the students feel comfortable in their environment, they are better able to reach their unique goals. A sensory room is ideal for students with different abilities and needs. Students learn better when they feel safe and comfortable. For students with sensory needs, sensory input is essential to meeting their learning goals and being successful students. These items will also help to maximize our occupational and physical therapists' resources to help our students. Providing the supplies for our team helps us to better serve our kids. By meeting the various needs students are relaxed and open to learning, students will learn how to use whole body learning and listening in order to better engage in learning life skills.
