All students are allowed to use calculators for the first time in 6th grade. The calculators will ensure that each student will be able to have a calculator to use every time they are in math class. We use a lot of center rotations and games for math RTI (Response to Intervention) to reach all learners. We have 30 minutes per day built into our school day where all students get the extra help they need. The games I have chosen will be a center for students to work through and develop concepts while also having fun.
