With the recent virtual learning needs during the pandemic students have not as easily been using textbooks this year. We will be using Kami as our "textbook". In math class, it is pivotal for students to have a space to work out their problems, and unfortunately, the Chromebooks are not going to be enough. The curriculum that we use at our school is great, but completing their work on the chrome screen is time consuming not always user friendly. With a class set of a Graphic Drawing Tablet my 5th graders will have a way to use a handheld device to work out their problems on the computer, which will be as close to having traditional paper and pencil on a digital device as possible.
