I am excited to use the magnetic blocks as a part of our reading block. Students can use each block for a sound and slide together to build words! I can't wait to create hands-on blending and other phonics activities. I also have found some fantastic phonics building slides from Teachers Pay Teachers that our class will use for phonics practices. These slides use the focused phonics skill and build upon that sound building words and phrases. Students will put the skills being taught in to applicable practice immediately during our whole group reading time.
