More than ever high school students need to fall in love with reading again, or expand the relationships they have formed with literature. That is why I implement choice book reading into my classroom learning. Students need to know there is a place they can find themselves in the pages of a book that sometimes never make it into a curriculum. Please consider helping to provide multiple titles and book genres in my classroom library so each student feels there is a book that inspires them to see themselves, see others, and builds confidence around writing their own stories!
