All of these materials will allow me to create interactive, hands-on experiences for my students. Magnets and Velcro can be used for matching, rearranging items, and so much more. Students can use pop-its to segment letter sounds or practice addition and subtraction. Laminating task cards and other items will increase durability so students can practice multiple times. Colored paper can be used to color-code student work for differentiation, or bring special attention to a poster on the wall. Dry erase markers and pockets will reduce paper usage and increase student engagement over traditional work on paper. By utilizing these materials, my students will engage more with content and have more fun!
