The noise cancelling headphones will be helpful for my students who have Autism and ADHD so that they can concentrate on completing their STEM projects and other academic assignments so that they can remain focused until completion. Auditory sensitivity is more common among autistics than it is within the general population, and using a noise cancelling headphone can help the child "turn down the volume" of noises many others do not hear. Students with ADHD have two types of noises they struggle with, internal and external. Noise cancelling headphones can help eliminate the external noises which can help students effectively complete their work.
