I always instill in my students that they can accomplish anything they set their sights on. I also tell them not to limit themselves because of their learning disabilities. The differentiated learning products purchased will reinforce critical learning skills needed for my students to be successful in the general education classroom. One academic area to target is reading fluency. Increasing reading fluency will in turn increase reading comprehension. The other target area of my student's academic performance is to increase number sense using various modalities; tactile, kinesthetic, and visual. Using these methods provides accessibility to the general curriculum for my students. These chosen academic products will provide increased engagement and fun. My students really enjoy learning while playing games and many times they don't realize they are learning.
