As a part of my morning meeting each day, we will learn about "Hidden Figures" that are typically not taught about in schools. These "Hidden Figures" will consist of scientists, mathematicians, leaders, and activists from multiple cultures and ethnicities that will help inspire my students to be leaders for change. Through reading, my students will have the opportunity to see themselves and the potential for what they can be as we learn and grow together! These materials will make a tremendous difference in my students' learning as we make broad and deep connections across curriculum and state standards to accurately represent ourselves, classmates, community, and the world around us.

About my class
