My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to spark an interest in learning. Education is changing every single day, and so are the interest of my students. Students in my classroom have multiple things working against them but it is my goal to create a comfortable learning environment. My school has many students who are on free or reduced lunch so that means most of the time essential supplies are hard on families to get so I would love to help lift some of that burden off of my students. Struggling readers will often pick up a comic book because the pictures and visuals are less intimidating than a typical book. Students also get tested and are expected to meet so many minutes on different computer activities so giving each child their on headphones will make it to where they can focus and grow each day.
