These books will enable students who cannot afford the resources to have them at school and home. My students will analyze non-fiction and fictional texts for misinformation and faulty rhetoric. By learning rhetorical strategies, my students will learn to communicate clearly and truthfully using respected sources. For example, students will read current news articles, discuss the rhetorical strategies used, and then write a meaningful analysis of the article itself. My students will also write articles that show they know how to find reliable information communicate it civilly and accurately.
