My students are in a weird world that requires them to both learn in person and use technology frequently. For the first time at our school, our students will have one-to-one technology. They are eager to broaden the computer skills they began learning at home and at school over the past two years during at home and concurrent learning. However, they are also so excited that our classroom library is opening up and are loving holding books at their desks once again. Help me let them continue to benefit from online books by supplying us with headphones and supplement their online explorations with a diverse set of classroom books they can choose from. With headphones; mice; and diverse, high-interest books, we can transition from all-digital concurrent learning to fully in-person learning, and still be prepared for whatever curves/ adaptions we need to take in the coming year. Please help support independent learning in my classroom. Students will be using both computers and print books throughout the year. These materials will spark their curiosity and make technology easier to use. Headphones will also help with distractions now that all students are back in a room they hardly remember ever being filled with more than 20 students.
