The books I've selected are well-loved by students at this age! My goal is to provide a mix of books that students can begin to read independently and high-interest books they can engage with as adult reads. This combination of texts is essential to the development of early reading skills. Students can experience success and build confidence with books that are at or below their current reading level. In contrast, books above their current reading level allow them to build comprehension and critical thinking skills through community discussion. We would greatly appreciate your support in ensuring my students have access to a variety of high-quality books!
