By having bookcases in our reading space, students will be able to find books that interest them and be within an atmosphere that fosters young readers. Currently our classroom library is stored in a way that is difficult to browse and is not close to the reading center. These bookcases will provide a library center in the classroom where students can browse and find books that interest them easily as well as be exposed to other genres types of literature that may interest them. By having easy access to a classroom library, the students are more likely to show a higher interest in reading!
