By getting book 2 in the Standard of Excellence series for each instrument, the 6th grade instrumentalists will be able to start reading harder rhythms and learn even more notes! This allows the students to excel in learning their instrument. We want our musicians to be experts on their instruments! It is very important for musicians to start understanding more than just the basics of music in 6th grade! Next year, they will be in the 7-12 band, where harder music is played and music knowledge goes beyond the tip of the iceberg.
