Students will be able to work collaboratively on these boards. They will share their knowledge within groups and between groups. They will become inquisitive, self-reliant, confident students. Rather than copying down knowledge from a single white board, students can work together to demonstrate what they know and have learned. The process itself is more valuable than just about any words a teacher could provide. This would allows the teacher to walk among the students and act as a facilitator of knowledge. This will prepare them for future math, and will help them identify and use real-world math applications.
