Last year our county provided one-on-one devices to all students. This year our county is not providing any device to students this year in grades K-2 as well as not providing laptops to any classrooms in those grades. We are left with 3 slow desktop computers that continuously don't work, have issues, and take a significant amount of time to log on and load websites. During my students time virtual learning, they had access to many technology tools such as educational videos, lessons, and unique engaging ways to practice reading, social studies skills, science projects and math problems that they now do not have access to due to lack of laptops. Students very much enjoyed these resources and they are extremely important to their day to day learning.
