As a teacher of reading, it's very important that I fill my classroom library with updated texts, along with books my students WANT to read. It has always been my goal of mine to instill a life-long love of reading in my students and to make sure every student has access to books that are at their level. All of these books and materials have been selected with my students in mind. One HUGE focus of my district curriculum is to introduce students to a variety of genres, themes, problems, characters, etc. These are things that children can learn through authentic texts.

About my class
