Instrumentalists at my school often need support from the school so that every student has access to instruments and accessories to play in music classes. Specifically, my school helps students who want to play string bass by providing and repairing instruments and providing bows. These five bows will allow students to perform on bass without needing to share bows during class. It will help keep students safe during a year of COVID when sharing learning items is not allowed. Providing each student with a bow will offer the opportunity for students to take instruments home and all practice equitably.
