Photographers and Painters, the Art of Looking, is meant to inspire students to use the world around them to make art they are passionate about. I’m striving to foster creative exploration and expression through the use of professional-level materials and skill-building. With a Polaroid camera, students can take time to find the thing they think is worth capturing. Photographers use the skill of observation and capture it in one moment, while painters like Van Gogh and Frida Kahlo took long hours painting their surroundings. With these two books in the classroom, students can flip through them for inspiration.
